Music Mogul & Role Model
 She is the BUSINESS!

DJ Hypeness, though new to some is no stranger to the Reggae/Dancehall culture. This Dominican native grew up listening to the works of Bob Marley, Lucky Dube, Buju Banton and a host of others pounding through the walls of her house with their sweet melodies. Her true love for the culture was further discovered when she moved to New York 11yrs ago. Underground Dancehall parties became a past time and here she became hooked on the beats and mesmerized by the atmosphere. Whenever she got the chance, she partied and sought new music and new venues. In 2005 she was introduced to the land of Radio by a friend as a co-host, it was then she instantly developed a liking and started her new found passion in becoming a radio disc jock (DJ). As time progressed, she learned how to spin on the 1s and 2s and continues to see growth in this talent. DJ Hypeness fought her way through this male dominated business with skills and determination. She harnessed her skills to overcome her fears with every opportunity, and this she does by playing  at numerous events, whether it's promotional or a paid gig.

DJ Hypeness released her first official Mix tape September of 2010 called "PAVE THE WAY" and received exceptional feedback which encouraged the release of  "CLEARA".
Not limiting herself to Reggae/Dancehall, DJ Hypeness is expanding her horizon in music and television. Only the best at what she does, DJ Hypeness has had the pleasure of interviewing Ice T , Mavado, Leon Preston Robinson (popularly know for his role in the movie Cool Runnings among others), Kymani Marley, Elephant Man, Serani and lots more, both established and upcoming artist. Recently booked as a host for the BVI music fest in Tortola, with featured international acts like Trey Songz, Keyshia Cole, Boyz 2 men n more, she managed to gain recognition by many, who are now looking to book her for other major events. DJ Hypeness is definitely kicking things up a notch with her new entertainment segment alongside DJ Noah wid da Powa, doing "Da ZynC Buzz" for Zync TV, which can be seen every Sundays on CIN, Channel 73 on Cable and 26 on Fios in the state of NY and the Caribbean. She is also the host of Dancehall Connections, shown on Fridays at 11pm on channel 68 in the Bronx. DJ Hypeness continues her journey as a DJ, playing on Royal Radio 103.3fm, Mondays 6-8pm and multiple Clubs in and out of the City. On September 10th, you can catch her playing at Studio Virgo in Temple Hill Maryland, with popularly known Dancehall  DJs of Renaissance Sound and more. Get to know as she travels on the road to success, aiming to become a house hold name.
